Meet Dr Shelley

Dr Shelley Chee BDS
General Dentist

Dr. Shelley Chee graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2007.  Since graduating Shelley has gained experience in both private practice and the public health sector. Shelley had the opportunity to relocate to Singapore for three years where she worked in private practice. She has enjoyed doing volunteer work overseas in Nepal and Cambodia providing dental care for underprivileged communities.   

Shelley joined the team at Plaza Dental Care in 2021 and instantly became an integral part of the team. She gets a great deal of personal satisfaction in developing and strengthening relationships with her patients, particularly those who have been reluctant to see a dentist. She is a caring and compassionate person who enjoys the opportunity to try and make every dental visit a pleasant and comfortable one. 

Shelley enjoys all aspects of general dentistry from routine check-ups to more complex dentistry, she has a keen interest in administering Botox to alleviate certain dental problems. Shelley regularly attends post-graduate courses and seminars.

Outside of Plaza Dental Care Shelley enjoys travelling. In the kitchen, she is a keen cook and loves experimenting with flavours from around the world. A bookworm at heart, she is never far from a good read. Shelley is an avid cricket watcher and during the summer months, you will find her at Adelaide Oval watching a game. When she is not gardening, you will find Shelley out on the water indulging in one of her favourite pastimes, crab raking.
